In order to provide additional scalability and capacity on the Market Data Network (MDN), CME will be adding/changing channels to be effective in production on July 10, 2005.   The implementation includes an additional channel on existing MDN gateways and channels on new MDN gateways both at Wacker Drive and the RDC.

As part of this enhancement, MDN client applications will be required to connect to multiple CME gateway IP addresses.  The MDN channels will be distributed across MDN gateways based on the security type between CME Futures and CME Options.

In earlier notices, you were advised that a Channel 5 would be implemented for ITC 2.1 Globex®options data.  Please note in the list below that Channel 5 will now carry ITC 2.1 Globex spreads, and ITC 2.1 Globex Options will move to Channel 7.
